These snaps are of Washington Park Trials, Mt. Hood & Pittock Mansion, Oregon. In my earlier post of Washington Park, we had covered only part of the park. We were lucky to get a sun shining Saturday in October and helped explore various other trails. Overlook trail includes a point that provides a beautiful view of Mount St. Helens and Mt. Adams. One trail leads to Pittock Mansion.According to Wiki, Pittock Mansion is a French Renaissance château in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon originally built as a private home for The Oregonian publisher Henry Pittock and his wife, Georgiana. It provides panoramic views of Downtown Portland and spectacular view of Mt. Hood. Couple of snaps show fall changing colors of Maple leaves. Washington Park includes Maple leaves Trail and look spectacular during fall season.
